Taco Potlucks

The lake entertaining season has officially shifted into high gear. Throughout the summer, I thought I'd share a few of my favorite themes and party styles that allow the host to remain a part of the gathering instead of being stuck in the kitchen all day! Taco parties are particularly convenient when you're having a lot of people over because they easily cater to a variety of dietary needs such as: gluten free, vegetarian, keto, etc. Host provides the meats and dinnerware. Guests each bring one (or two) big bowls of “fixins” (think: lettuce, chopped tomatoes, black beans, shredded cheese, salsa, jalapenos, chips, tortillas, etc.) and their beverage of choice to share. It's a summer classic that is one of the easiest types of potlucks to organize and always a crowd pleaser!
