Can you believe it's nearly time for our local Farmers Markets to swing into high gear?! Here is a list of start dates for the Spring 2026 season:

Moneta Farmers Market | Opening day is May 2nd. *NEW HOURS* Operating each Wednesday from 9am-noon through August 29th. Next to the Moneta Branch Library on 122

Westlake Farmers Market | Opening day is May 2nd. Every Saturday from 9am-1pm through fall.

Southlake Community Market | Opening day is May 21st. Every Thursday from 9am-12pm.

11766 Old Franklin Tpke, Union Hall, VA 24176

Lakeside Local Market | Opening day is April 18th. Find this diverse maker/artisan/vendor market every third Saturday from 10am-1pm through October with one last market on November 28th.

Bedford Farmers Market | Last Winter Market: April 11th. Opens weekly for the season May 2nd-September. Saturdays from 9am-12 pm. 220 W Washington St, Bedford, VA 24523 Rocky Mount Farmers Market | Opening day is April 4th. Saturday markets are held from 9am-1pm through December. Midweek markets are also held during peak growing season. 435 Franklin Street, Rocky Mount, VA 24151 Vinton Farmers Market | Opening day is April 4th. Runs Tuesdays-Fridays 9am-5pm and Saturdays 9am-1pm through October. 204 W Lee Ave, Vinton, VA 24179 Downtown Roanoke Farmers Market | Runs year-round, but the number of vendors will be growing as crops start flowing in. Forest Farmers Market | Last Winter Market: April 11th, 9am-12pm. Opening day for the summer season is April 26th. Saturday markets are held from 8am-12pm through November.
