This new addition to the downtown Rocky Mount scene offers ambience by the bucketload. A perfect mix of nostalgia and fresh industrial design, Old Towne Social House has put together a varied and extensive wine list, light bite menu, and even some beer and non-alcoholic options to fully satiate every taste that walks through their door.
Each category of wine on the list (primarily grouped by region and color) has 2-4 offerings that are available by the glass, and the rest, by the bottle. All of the servers are friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. When visiting, you just pick your seating area (I love how they are set up to feel like you're in someone's living room), have a browse of the menu, and then whenever you've made your decision, head up to one of their ordering station desks and let them know what you would like.
The Social House boasts two spacious gathering areas that are perfect for anything from a date night to a book club to a birthday party! You can also enjoy shopping in their gift area before or after your visit. Easy parking is found behind the building - just follow the signs.

Parcel 41 Merlot 2020
From the tasting notes: "The nose has aromas of black currant, saddle leather, and milk chocolate, with floral notes. The mouth has round tannins layering with chocolate-covered cherries, spicy black plum, and smoky espresso."
