Cori Ray and her partner Luis Negron of CR Infused Catering are bringing something wonderfully fresh to the lake: a farm-to-table personal chef/catering service! Cori has been a part of the cooking industry since she was 17 years old. Having worked most every position available, from back of house to bistro owner, fine dining to a food truck, she has done it all! During the pandemic though, Cori began to shift and really settle into her sweet spot in the kitchen: offering start to finish meal service on site for people at their location of choice. Having a Culinary Arts degree, she is equipped with the hands-on experience and skills to take your ideas and turn them into reality. Up for most any special request, one of her favorite things is growing and sourcing as many local ingredients for her menus as she possibly can, and then pairing her imaginative courses with lake-area wines. Imagine a large family get together (she and her employees will cook for up to 24 guests) where all you have to do is enjoy yourself and your company! The meal prep, execution, service, and clean-up will be completely taken care of by CR Infused. Now think of a romantic dinner for two…perhaps on your deck - perhaps on your dock - perhaps even on your boat (yes, she cooks on board as well!). You get to be a guest for a change, not the cook/server of that special anniversary, birthday, or celebration dinner. How good does that sound?! Luis brings a unique twist to their offerings as sous chef: the delicious cuisine of his native Puerto Rico. Half-Puerto Rican myself, I've not found any true island food around here, so this really excites my sofrito and mofongo loving taste buds! You'll want to call and schedule your summer menu planning consult soon. They request a minimum of two weeks prior to your event, but the further out, the better! Once word gets around about this amazing service, I have a feeling they are going to be booked solid for the season.
